Prunus & Games!

I was hoping to organize the first dinner party earlier but I’m still putting my home together and stone fruit season waits for no one. So come on Sunday, Sept 9, at 1 to celebrate delicious stone fruit before they’re gone for another year.

What’s the plan?

Have a favorite stone fruit? Bring a couple to share! Don’t have time to make it to the store? No problem, I’ll have plenty, too. The plan is that I’ll be making crepes until everyone is fed, I’ll be making a plum reduction whipped cream to go on top.

Not a fan of stone fruit? nbd, bring your favorite crepe filling and I’ll make you a crepe. I make pretty awesome savory crepes, too.

House opens at 1pm. Come for brunch if you’d like, or come later for games, or if you wanna come later for dinner, I might be experimenting with plum-braised short ribs. Who knows!

This is the first party in my new home, but this is not a housewarming party.

Next party: Mid-Autumn Mooncakes and Dumplings (Note: I may be in Taiwan during the actual Mid-Autumn Festival so this may happy a little later in October.)
